GREGORY ERDSTEIN

Gregory Erdstein is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, illustrator and musician from Melbourne, Australia. A Masters graduate (2009) from the Victorian College of the Arts (V.C.A) School of Film and Television, Erdstein currently works as a filmmaker, illustrator and film teacher. Recently he has been developing a surreal television series FEAR PARADE with Melbourne actor Shane Nagle, director Tony Rogers (Wilfred) and producer Anna Kojevnikov (Deeper Than Yesterday) In 2010 Erdstein formed the production collective THE MOOSE THAT ROARED with Alice Foulcher. Together they have produced three short films including PICKING UP AT AUSCHWITZ (2012), HAROLD HOLT IS DEAD (2011) and the almost completed WHY RYAN IS ON DETENTION (2013) based on the sequence of poems THE LEARNING CURVE by John Foulcher. Pre-production is currently underway for Erdstein's latest short THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL (2013). |
